If you have a big Princess fan in your house (or maybe YOU are the Princess fan yourself), you may have your heart set on meeting and enjoying everything Princess related.
Ariel and The Little Mermaid are one of my favorite Disney movies and Disney Princesses of all time. If you want to make sure your time spent at Disney includes this Princess, you'll need to know where you can find her.
Here I'll tell you where you can find all things Ariel and Little Mermaid at the parks.
Magic Kingdom
If you have your heart set on meeting Ariel, the Magic Kingdom wont disappoint. You'll find the most Little Mermaid options at this park.
Restaurants
Ariel is often found making the rounds at Cinderella's Royal Table. This restaurant is located inside Cinderella's Castle, and is a popular Princess stop.
Here you'll meet her in her gorgeous green dress (legs and all). But first you'll stop to take a photo (with a photopass photographer) with Cinderella. After you meet the head Princess, you'll be escorted upstairs where you'll enjoy a prix fix meal (it will cost 2 dining credits if you are using the dining plan).
You and your family will take part in a fun wishing ceremony, where the kids will receive either a sword or a wand. Various Princesses will visit your table (this time you'll have to have your camera ready, as there are no photographers).
While the Princesses you'll meet are not always the same, Ariel is usually there to chat with you while you dine.
Rides
Under the Sea: The Journey of the Little Mermaid is a fun dark ride at the Magic Kingdom.
Here you'll ride in a clam shell under the sea, and watch the story of Ariel. You'll be singing Under the Sea for the rest of the day after riding this ride.
Festival of Fantasy Parade
During the Festival of Fantasy Parade at the Magic Kingdom, you'll see Ariel make her way down Main Street USA on her very own float (driven by none other than Sebastian).
Make sure to look out for Flounder on the float swimming and swimming!
This parade takes place daily at either 2 or 3pm. Check your My Disney Experience app for exact times during your trip.
Character Meet
If you want to meet the Mermaid herself, she has her very own meeting spot in Fantasyland in Ariel's Grotto.
Make sure you check the app for times that she is available.
Epcot
Restaurants
You can make reservations at Akershus Royal Banquet storybook dining at Epcot to meet several Princesses, including Ariel. This will be your chance to get a photo of her in her green dress (legs and all).
This delicious buffet is a favorite (and a great option if you can't get in or don't want to spend the money on Cinderella's Royal Table). You'll find it in the Norway Pavilion in The World Showcase.
The Princesses that you meet during this meal are never guaranteed (they sometimes switch out the characters that you'll meet), but Ariel is there more often than not.
This particular restaurant offersbreakfast reservations before the park opens.
Hollywood Studios
Shows
The Voyage of the Little Mermaid is a live show where you can sing along with your favorite songs from the movie.
There are actors, amazing props, and puppets that are all used to bring the movie to life in front of your eyes.
The show is about 20 minutes long, and is a must see for princess fans.
Resorts
The Art of Animation resort offers Little Mermaid themed rooms. These are the only rooms in that resort that are not suites.
These rooms have 2 double beds and sleep 4 people.
Not only do they have rooms themed for your favorite Princess, but you'll find fun Little Mermaid sculptures around the property. Including Ariel, King Triton, and Sebastian.
Right outside of Epcot at the Boardwalk Resort you'll find the restaurant Trattoria Al Forno. This Italian restaurant has a character meal breakfast called The Bon Voyage Breakfast. Here you'll meet not only Ariel, but also her Prince Eric while you eat.
This is a unique character meal, as it features Princes as well Princesses. Ariel will be wearing her gorgeous green gown, and will come by your table as you eat. Be prepared with your own camera. There are no photopass photographers at this meal.
Make sure to note, this character experience is only available for breakfast.
Sebastian's Bistro is a table service restaurant located at the Caribbean Beach Resort.
While you wont find any characters roaming around this restaurant, you will enjoy Latin and seafood with island hospitality.
This nautical themed restaurant has artwork featuring characters from the movie The Little Mermaid (mostly Sebastian himself).
