Epcot: The Complete Ride List

Epcot is a unique theme park. It feels almost like two parks in one. The front of the park is split into three neighborhoods (World Celebration, World Nature, and World Discovery) and is focused on education and science. The back half of the park is The World Showcase, and features pavilions (including rides, restaurants, shops, and shows) based on different countries.

Here is a comprehensive list of attractions. This complete list of rides includes location, height requirements, Lightning Lane eligibility, and some thoughts on each ride, so that you can plan your trip based on what's best for your family.

How Many Rides Are at Epcot?

Epcot has 21 attractions, and 11 of them are rides. The rest are 8 shows and 2 walk-throughs.

The 11 rides are Spaceship Earth, Journey Into Imagination With Figment, Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, Mission: SPACE, Test Track, Soarin', Living with the Land, The Seas with Nemo and Friends, Gran Fiesta Tour, Frozen Ever After and Remy's Ratatouille Adventure.

You may see 12 on other lists. That's usually because they count Mission: SPACE Green and Orange as two rides, or they count Journey of Water (it's a walk-through).

What Should You Ride First at Epcot?

Ride the one with the longest line first, before the crowds build.

So far in 2026, the longest average posted waits have been Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind (69 minutes), Test Track (60), Remy's Ratatouille Adventure (47) and Frozen Ever After (42). Nothing else at Epcot averages more than 20.

If you're staying at a Disney resort, you get 30 minutes of Early Entry every day. All four of those rides are open during Early Entry at Epcot.

Cosmic Rewind is Lightning Lane Single Pass, so you pay for it on its own. Test Track, Remy and Frozen Ever After are Multi Pass Tier 1, and you can only pick one of those.

There are no virtual queues at Epcot right now. Cosmic Rewind has been standby only since February 2025.

World Celebration

Spaceship Earth

Located inside the "Epcot ball", this is a gentle ride through time. Here you'll see animatronics showing the progress is technology that man has made throughout the years.

Spaceship Earth is the ride inside the giant golf ball, and it's slow and calm.

You ride up through the history of communication, from cave paintings to computers, then ride backwards on the way down.

There's no height requirement and the line usually moves quickly. So it's an easy first ride when you walk in the front gate.

It's also a good break when you need to sit somewhere cool for a while.

From my trips: On my way out I rode Spaceship Earth, because I always have to ride Spaceship Earth.

Journey Into Imagination With Figment

This classic ride has been reworked, but it is still bright and weird and fun. You'll be take on a journey with Figment to explore all of your senses. The ride's exit is an interactive play area that kids will love.

Journey Into Imagination With Figment is a short, silly dark ride with Figment the purple dragon.

It's all about the senses, so there are a few loud noises, a smell and a flash of light along the way.

The line is almost always short. So it's an easy add on any day.

When you get off, the ImageWorks play area at the exit is a good spot for kids to burn off energy.

From my trips: If there's a wait for Figment, something's gone horribly, horribly wrong.

Here you will find animated shorts of Disney and Pixar films. This is a fun and entertaining way to spend a hot afternoon if you need a little break from the heat.

World Discovery

Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind

This family thrill coaster is possibly the most fun I have ever had on a coaster! That said, if you suffer from motion sickness you may want to prepare yourself on this one.

Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind is Epcot's big roller coaster, and it's indoors.

Your car rotates as you go, so it turns you to face the action (and sometimes backwards). It starts with a backward launch.

Each ride plays one of several classic songs, so you won't know which one you get until you're moving.

If you have one must-do at Epcot for your thrill seekers, this is it.

From my trips: Guardians was the most fun I have had on a ride in a long time.

Mission: SPACE

A motion simulator that makes you feel like an astronaut blasting off into space. There are two versions in the same building. Green is the gentler one with no spinning. Orange puts you in a centrifuge to simulate G-force, and it is genuinely intense.

Mission: SPACE is really two rides, and you need to pick the right one.

Orange is the intense version. It spins in a centrifuge, so you feel real G forces, and it's NOT a good choice if you get motion sick.

Green is the mild version. It doesn't spin, so it's a better pick for younger kids or anyone unsure.

Each rider gets a job on the mission and a button to press. So kids like having a role.

From my trips: I typically skip Mission Space, but my son wanted the more intense orange version. I don't get sick, but I do get dizzy, and walking out of there I was holding on to the wall. We did the easier green one because this ride makes me a little dizzy. A guy in line told us what makes orange more intense is that it spins while you're in the simulator.

Test Track

This ride reopened in July 2025 with a new look and a new story. The design your own car section is gone. Now you move through scenes about the future of car technology, and it still ends with the high speed lap around the outdoor track.

Test Track is Epcot's fastest ride, and the big moment is the run on the outdoor track at the end.

The ride reopened in July 2025 with a new look that's all about the future of cars. You no longer design your own car before you board.

It isn't a coaster. There are no drops, just speed, sharp turns and a few sudden stops.

It's a great pick for kids who are big enough for a thrill but not ready for Cosmic Rewind.

From my trips: I really like the updated Test Track. They rethemed the inside and it was great, but the outside is still the same concrete and backstage buildings. My daughter, who used to be scared of everything, rode Test Track for the first time. She was fine inside with the car swerving around; she just didn't like the fast part at the end.

World Nature

Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana

A walk through trail where the water reacts to you as you go. It is a nice break from the heat, and little ones will want to play in it for a while. This is a walk through, not a ride.

Soarin'

Now showing Soarin' Across America, a limited-time film.

Take a flight in a seat that lifts and moves as you watch a giant screen. You feel the wind in your face and even smell the places you glide over.

Soarin' is a flight simulator, and it's one of the gentlest rides at Epcot.

You sit in a row that lifts you up in front of a huge dome screen, so you feel like you're hang gliding. You'll smell some of the places you fly over too.

Right now it's showing Soarin' Across America, a limited-time film that flies you over places across the U.S.

If heights bother you, ask the cast member for the lowest row. Your feet still dangle, but you don't feel as high up.

It's a great one for grandparents and little ones together.

From my trips: On Soarin' we were seated with a bachelorette party, and I have never in all my years heard anyone scream on Soarin' as if it was a roller coaster. In the evening, especially during festivals, everyone moves to World Showcase. The crowds were few and far between, so my kids were able to just walk onto Soarin'.

Living with the Land

This ride is a slow boat ride through some of the greenhouses of Epcot.

You float past real crops growing in ways you won't see anywhere else, like giant pumpkins and tomatoes growing on trees.

It's calm, it's cool inside, and the line is usually short. So it's a great midday break with little ones.

If your kids love it, ask about the Behind the Seeds tour, which goes much deeper for an extra fee.

From my trips: I know that if I go on a slow ride like Living with the Land at midnight, I won't be able to do anything afterwards. I've sat down for too long. It's over.

Awesome Planet

A 10 minute film about Earth's landscapes and ecosystems, upstairs in The Land pavilion. In-theater lighting and effects make it more than a movie, and it is an easy place to sit down in the air conditioning.

The Seas with Nemo and Friends

Characters from Finding Nemo come to life inside the aquarium, as you ride along in this dark ride. After the ride you'll find yourself in the aquarium with the real life versions of these sea creatures.

Here you'll see amazing live animation technology with characters from Finding Nemo.

World Showcase

Gran Fiesta Tour Starring The Three Caballeros

This ride is a slow boat ride (similar to Small World) focused on Mexico. The story involves the Three Caballeros looking for Donald for their show. The music is catchy and the story is fun and cute.

You float through Mexico with José and Panchito as they look for Donald Duck, who has wandered off.

The best part is the pavilion itself. It's always nighttime inside, with a pyramid and a market.

The line is usually short. So this is a good one when you need to cool off in World Showcase.

From my trips: It's so fun, and that song gets stuck in my head for days.

Frozen Ever After

This ride is a slow boat ride that features the characters from the movie Frozen.

Frozen Ever After is a boat ride through Arendelle in the Norway pavilion.

You'll see Anna, Elsa, Olaf and the gang, and you hear the songs from the movie along the way.

There is one small backwards drop and one forward drop near the end. Neither is big, but a heads up helps little ones.

This line gets long fast. Ride it early or plan on Lightning Lane.

From my trips: On Frozen, the woman in front of us was conducting with the music the whole time. She was in the zone and loving every minute of it.

Reflections of China

A 14 minute Circle-Vision 360 film about China, narrated by the poet Li Bai. Disney announced a replacement called Wondrous China years ago, but it has never opened, so this is still the film that plays. You stand for this one.

Remy's Ratatouille Adventure

You shrink down to the size of a rat and scurry through Gusteau's restaurant. There is no height requirement and the ride is gentle, so this is a good one for the whole family.

Remy's Ratatouille Adventure shrinks you down to rat size and sends you racing through Gusteau's kitchen.

It's a 3D trackless ride, so your car moves on its own path and dodges around the kitchen with Remy.

There are no drops and nothing scary. So it's an easy pick for the whole family.

It's in the France pavilion, so pair it with a crêpe or a pastry when you come out.

From my trips: I liked it a lot. Very, very cute. Remy's really got me. As soon as there's 3D glasses involved, I'm like, hold up. I make sure it's nowhere near mealtime and that I have a break afterwards in case I need to sit down.

Epcot Ride Questions

What Is the 3-2-1 Rule at Disney?

It isn't a Disney rule. It's a planning tip that took off on TikTok this year.

For each park day you pick 3 rides, 2 experiences (a show, a parade, fireworks or a character meet) and 1 meal. Anything beyond those six is a bonus.

At Epcot I'd count a World Showcase snack stroll as your 1, especially during a festival.

What Are the Most Intense Rides at Epcot?

Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, Mission: SPACE Orange and Test Track are the thrill rides. Cosmic Rewind is a coaster in the dark with a backward launch, Orange spins in a centrifuge, and Test Track hits about 65 mph on the outdoor track.

Everything else at Epcot is gentle. Frozen Ever After has two small drops, which is worth a heads up for little ones.

Which Epcot Rides Have Rider Switch?

Rider Switch lets one adult ride while the other waits with a child who is too small, then you swap without waiting in line again. At Epcot it's offered on Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, Mission: SPACE, Test Track, Soarin' and Frozen Ever After.

Which Epcot Rides Have Single Rider Lines?

Test Track and Remy's Ratatouille Adventure. If you don't mind splitting up, they're often much shorter than standby.
