If you were planning on visiting Disney World this fall, but were nervous about the crowds for Hollywood Studios and Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge in particular, you'll be excited to learn that Disney has announced that the parks will open earlier than usual to accommodate the crowds they anticipate for this new land.
Here is what you can expect:
- On opening weekend the park will open early for ALL GUESTS. August 29-31 the park will be open at 6am to everyone.
- Hollywood Studios will have Extra, Extra Magic Hours September 1 - November 2, 2019. These extra hours will run from 6am-9am daily during this time.
In addition to these extra hours at Hollywood Studios, Animal Kingdom and Magic Kingdom will also have their own Extra, Extra Magic Hours:
- Animal Kingdom will have Extra, Extra Magic Hours August 29 - November 2 from 7am-8am daily. This will feature Pandora The World of Avatar and other attractions
- Magic Kingdom will have Extra, Extra Magic Hours August 29 - November 2 from 7am-8am daily. This will feature rides in Fantasyland and Tomorrowland.
As always, these bonus hours are available to guests of Disney World Resorts (and a few participating off-site hotels).
