If you are heading to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, a fun way to add on to the magic is to take photos around the park that include Magic Shots.
Read the full guide on Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party here.
Magic Shots are enhancements added to your Photopass photos at Disney World. This can be a prop that the photographer might have, a digital enhancement to your photo (like a character), or a lighting effect.
The Magic Shots that are available change regularly. Currently, the best way to find out what Magic Shots are available are by following Disney Photopass on Facebook.
To learn more about Photopass photographers and purchasing a Memory Maker photo package read my full article here.
There are several fun Magic Shots available at Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party this year! And I did my best to try them all!
Here are your options (see the map below for exact locations):
Light Up Present
Santa Flying Over
Santa Tinkerbell
Christmas Carol Muppets
Candy Cane & Snowflake Background
Tinkerbell Lantern
Petting Zero
Chip and Dale
This photo was not being done during my party. I asked the photographer, and she said instead they were doing a different Magic Shot that wasn't party specific. Be sure to ask the photographer if you are unsure what shot you might be getting. The photo below is courtesy of Disney.
There are photopass photographers located all around the parks.
If you are looking for these specific shots, you'll need to make sure you find a photographer that can do them.
I have created a black and white version of the party map and labeled the Magic Shot locations in orange so they are easier for you to find. Click on the map below to save the image to your phone.

When you take a photo with a Photopass Photographer at Disney World, they will scan your Magic Band or park ticket. This will link your photos to your account.
You will be able to find your photos by going in to your My Disney Experience app, and looking under the photos section of the menu.
If you have purchased a Memory Maker package, all Magic Shots are included with your purchase. You will be able to download the photos from your phone or computer.
If you have not purchased Memory Maker you can purchase photos individually through My Disney Experience.
