May at Disney World

If you are looking for the summer experience without the summer crowds, you'll want to visit Disney World in May.

While you'll still see some increased crowds, you'll avoid the full summer swing if you hit the parks in May.

Weather

The weather in May starts to get hotter during the days. The evenings will be warm and pleasant. You might experience some rain, but the chance of rain is still fairly low in May.

Crowd Levels

Crowd levels in May are low during the first half of the month. Kids are still in school, and fewer people are traveling.

As it gets closer to Memorial Day you can expect to see rising crowd levels. The end of the month also marks the start of summer vacation for some school districts. While the crowd levels probably wont be super high, they will start to creep up just a bit.
