Fireworks Parties Outside of the Park

If you want to enjoy the fireworks without a ticket to the Magic Kingdom, you have a few options.

These parties both take place outside of the park, so they do not require park admission.

The pros for these parties are that you avoid Magic Kingdom crowds altogether. You wont have to fight crowds waiting for the bus after the show, and you wont need to pay for park admission to enjoy.

The downside to these parties is that you wont be able to enjoy the projections. The nighttime shows include projections on both Cinderella Castle and on Main Street USA. While you'll have the music to accompany the show, and you'll get an amazing view of fireworks, you wont be able to see the projections.

These are the two options available:

Ferrytale Fireworks: A Sparkling Dessert Cruise

This dessert party takes place on one of Disney’s iconic ferryboats for an unforgettable evening on the Seven Seas Lagoon.

You'll check in at the Transportation and Ticket Center, where you’ll be greeted with a refreshing beverage before setting sail. Then let the ferryboat’s crew regale you with an entertaining backstory of the vessel’s magic.

Once you cast off, the celebration continues with a stellar selection of bite-size signature treats, from KABOOM! Cupcakes and Rocket Burst Popcorn Push Ups to Red Velvet Wow! Pie and Grand Finale Key Lime Tarts. You can even Build Your Own Mousse. All this alongside a bevy of specialty drinks—either with or without alcohol—themed to the sparkling, shooting stars of the fireworks. For the kiddos, there’s also an ultraviolet scavenger hunt. So whether you’re sipping a glass of Firecracker Fizz, nibbling on a tasty sweet or discovering blacklight clues, you’re a part of the magnetic magic that makes this cruise so special and unique.

And when it comes time for the grand finale fireworks to light up the sky over the Castle, be sure to grab a spot along the ferryboat’s railing and slip on your “Mickey Vision” glasses—they’ll transform your viewing experience in the most delightful way.

          Pricing
Ferrytale Fireworks: A Sparkling Dessert Cruise takes place on select Wednesday and Saturday nights. Admission is $99 for adults and $69 for children ages 3 to 9 (tax and gratuity included) and even includes a special takeaway surprise.

Celebration at the Top: 50th Flavors and Fireworks at Disney’s Contemporary Resort

This fireworks viewing takes place at the Contemporary Resort observation deck, and is going to be more formal than any of the other options on this list.

This cocktail party includes sushi and small bites from California Grill, beer, wine, and cordials. All are included with the price of admission (guests must be over 21 to enjoy alcoholic beverages).

As showtime approaches, guests will head out to the private observation deck at the Contemporary Resort. The lights will dim and music will be played on the deck to accompany the show.
