Guide to Lightning Lane Multipass at Disney World

With the announcement of the end of Genie+, Disney World is introducing the Lightning Lane Multipass system. Here's everything you need to know to make the most of your visit.

The Lightning Lane Multipass system replaces Genie+, offering a revamped way to skip lines. Individual Lightning Lanes will still be available as Lightning Lane Single Passes.

Key Features

  1. Booking in Advance:

    • On-Site Guests: Book rides 7 days in advance from your check-in date. You can book for the entire length of your trip
    • Off-Site Guests: Book rides 3 days in advance.
  2. Ride Tiers:

    • Tier 1 Rides: Limited to one selection per day when you are booking in advance.
      • Magic Kingdom: Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Jungle Cruise, Peter Pan, Space Mountain, Tiana's Bayou Adventure.
      • Epcot: Frozen Ever After, Remy's Ratatouille Adventure, Soarin'.
      • Hollywood Studios: Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway, Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run, Rock 'n' Roller Coaster, Slinky Dog Dash.
      • Animal Kingdom: No tiers; select any three eligible rides.
    • Tier 2 Rides: You can select 2 rides in addition to your tier 1 selection, or you can book any 3 rides from this list if you book NO tier 1 selections.
      • Magic Kingdom: The Barnstormer, Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin, Dumbo, Haunted Mansion, it's a small world, Mad Tea Party, Magic Carpets of Aladdin, The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, Mickey's PhilharMagic, Monsters Inc.       • Animal Kingdom: No tiers; select any three eligible rides

Usage Guidelines

  • Advance Booking: You can book three rides in advance, with only one from Tier 1 at each park.
  • Park Hopping: Book your initial rides for the first park you visit. Additional reservations can be made after you scan into the first ride.
  • No 120-Minute Rule: Book new rides immediately after scanning into your current ride.
  • In-Park Booking: Once inside, the tier restrictions no longer apply, but you can only reserve each ride once per day.

Pricing and Virtual Queues

  • Pricing: Yet to be announced but expected to be similar to Genie+.
  • Virtual Queues: Still required for certain attractions like Guardians of the Galaxy.

Lightning Lane Single Pass:

  • Available for specific high-demand rides, similar to the previous individual Lightning Lanes.
  • These rides can be purchased individually to get access to Lightning Lane.
    • Magic Kingdom: Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, TRON Lightcycle Run
    • Epcot: Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind
    • Hollywood Studios: Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance
    • Animal Kingdom: Avatar Flight of Passage
