Every Character Meal Option at Disney World

When traveling to Disney World character meals are a top priority for many people.

Booking a character meal is a great way to meet your favorite characters, save time at the parks (no waiting in line to meet them), and it's often a great use of dining plan credits.

But how do you know which restaurants have character meals? Are the characters at the restaurants for breakfast, lunch, and dinner? Can I do a character meal outside of the parks?

Magic Kingdom Character Meals

You'll find 3 character meal options at the Magic Kingdom:

Be Our Guest

• Dining plan accepted (2 dining credits)
• Character you'll meet: The Beast
• Fine dining options available

This option is not listed as a character meal, but for dinner only the Beast from Beauty and the Beast will usually make an appearance.

He wont come around to every table, but you can have your picture taken with him in a private room. A photopass photographer will be there.

You can get reservations for breakfast before the park opens at this restaurant, but you won't be able to meet the Beast if you chose breakfast.

Cinderella's Royal Table

• Dining plan accepted (2 dining credits)
• Character you'll meet: Cinderella and other princesses (Snow White, Ariel, and Jasmine are usually there)
• Fine dining options available

You'll have your photo taken with Cinderella by a photopass photographer before you are seated. The other Princesses will come around to your table, and you'll have to take your own photographs with them.

You can get reservations for breakfast before the park opens at this restaurant.

The Crystal Palace

• Dining plan accepted
• Character you'll meet: Winnie the Pooh and friends
• All you can eat buffet meal

This is a casual spot located on Main Street USA. You can enjoy breakfast, lunch, and dinner at this location

Epcot Character Meals

Akershus Royal Banquet

• Dining plan accepted
• Character you'll meet: Ariel, Belle, Jasmine, Aurora (sometimes the lineup will change)
• All you can eat buffet meal

Here you'll meet a number of Princesses for Storybook Dining in the Norway Pavilion of the World Showcase at Epcot.

You can get reservations for breakfast before the park opensat this restaurant.

Garden Grill Restaurant

• Dining plan accepted
• Character you'll meet: Chip and Dale, Mickey, and Pluto
• Family style meal (similar to Thanksgiving meal for lunch and dinner)

Here you'll enjoy a delicious family style meal while sitting in this rotating restaurant in The Land Pavilion in Future World.

You can get reservations for breakfast before the park opensat this restaurant.

Animal Kingdom Character Meals

Tusker House

• Dining plan accepted
• Character you'll meet: Mickey, Donald, Daisy, and Goofy
• All you can eat buffet

Here you can enjoy a buffet with both American and African foods. You'll find something for everyone to enjoy.

Hollywood Studios Character Meals

Hollywood and Vine

• Dining plan accepted
• Character you'll meet: Disney Junior Characters for breakfast; Minnie and Friends for lunch and dinner
• All you can eat buffet

During breakfast all of your little one's favorite Disney Junior characters will make their way to your table to say hello while you eat.

For lunch and dinner Minnie Mouse hosts "parties" with some of her friends at this restaurant.

Resort Character Meals

1900 Park Fare

• Dining plan accepted
• Located at Grand Floridian
• Character you'll meet: Alice and friends at breakfast and tea, Cinderella and friends at dinner
• All you can eat buffet for breakfast and dinner; afternoon tea

During breakfast you'll meet Alice, Mary Poppins and more characters during your breakfast buffet.

If you come for afternoon tea you'll spend time with Alice and the Mad Hatter

At dinner time you'll meet Cinderella and her Prince Charming

Cape May Cafe

• Dining plan accepted
• Located at Beach Club Resort
• Character you'll meet: Minnie, Goofy, Donald, and Daisy
• All you can eat buffet

Characters at this meal are available only at breakfast time.

You'll enjoy an all you can eat breakfast buffet at this beach themed restaurant (complete with beach umbrellas)

Chef Mickey's

• Dining plan accepted
• Located at The Contemporary Resort
• Character you'll meet: Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Donald, and Goofy
• All you can eat buffet

This all you can eat buffet is located right in the middle of The Contemporary resort.

You'll get to meet your favorite fab five characters as you eat.

'Ohana

• Dining plan accepted
• Located at The Polynesian Resort
• Character you'll meet: Lilo and Stitch, Pluto, Mickey
• All you can eat buffet

Characters are only available during breakfast.

This breakfast buffet has American and Hawaiian flavors served.

Storybook Dining at Artist Point with Snow White

• Dining plan accepted
• Located at Fort Wilderness Resort
• Character you'll meet: Snow White, Evil Queen, Dopey, and Grumpy
• American Northwest dining

Enjoy amazing food inspired by food of the American Northwest.

Snow White and her Dwarfs will make their way over to your table as you eat. The Evil Queen, however, will summon you to her meeting spot with a photopass photographer.

Bon Voyage Breakfast atTrattoria Al Forno

• Dining plan accepted
• Located at The Boardwalk
• Character you'll meet: Ariel and Eric, Rapunzel and Flynn Rider
• Old World Inspired dining

Here you'll find amazing Old World inspired Italian food.

Characters are available to meet during breakfast only.

Topolino's Terrace Flavors of the Riviera

• Dining plan accepted
• Located at The Riviera Resort
• Character you'll meet: Mickey, Minnie, Donald, and Daisy
• Sea food, meat, and pasta dishes are served here.
