What do you pack when you're going to Disney World? Not only do you have your basic day to day essentials, but you'll also want to consider what to pack in your park bag, whether or not you'll be making your own food, small children, laundry... it goes on and on.
Here I'll break down your packing necessities, and give you my ultimate Disney World packing list.
And you can download the entire packing list for FREE right here.
Any time you travel, there are documents that you know you'll want to have with you. When you travel to Disney, you need those same important documents... and a few extras:
In addition to your day to day clothing items, you'll also want to consider the type of weather that you might be seeing during your trip. While we tend to think of Florida as always hot and humid, that just isn't always the case.
Cool mornings and evenings and rainy afternoons might be a reality of your trip. If you are unsure of what type of weather to expect, check out my month to month weather information at Disney World.
Some notes for clothing you may want to pack:
In addition to your every day toiletries, you'll want to make sure that you are packing a few extra things that you'll need at Disney World. Some of those things include:
Disney provides shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in each resort room. If you like a certain brand for these products you may want to pack your own.
Unlike other vacations, when you travel to Disney World you'll need to take in to consideration what you want to carry with you in your park bags. Some of my favorite essentials include:
While this list is by no way complete (see my full list for more ideas), this should definitely get you started. You'll want to consider weather, children's needs, meals/snacks at the parks, etc.
If you are traveling with kids, you'll want to consider their needs when packing. Kids have different clothing needs, food needs, and more. Here are a few of my kid essentials:
You definitely know your child's needs. So make sure you add anything special that you need to the full list below.
If you don't want to overpack, remember that you can have groceries delivered to your resort. If you would like to save room in your suitcase on clothing you might consider doing laundry at your resort. You can purchase laundry detergent, but to save money you may want to pack travel size laundry as well.
