Dockside Inn and Suites is one of Universal Orlando's two Value hotels, part of Universal's Endless Summer Resort. You get two pools, free buses to the parks and Early Park Admission. Its 2-bedroom suites sleep 6. It does NOT include Express Unlimited.

This resort is inspired by the sand and the sea. The vibe is a relaxed one that is very much accommodating for families.

Rooms Available

This resort offers both standard resort rooms, and two bedrooms suites. Not only are the rooms incredibly affordable, but the suites are a really nice and spacious option if you are traveling with children and want to have a bit of privacy.

The standard rooms at Dockside Inn are a spacious 313 square feet, and have large windows with either a standard view or pool view. So even if you don't want to spring for a family suite, you will definitely have plenty of space.

Suites are also incredibly spacious at 440 square feet, and even have a kitchenette and picnic-type table set up. The bathroom has a separate bath and vanity area.

Resort Shopping

The Universal Studios Store at Dockside Inn resort is located off the lobby of the resort. Here you can find a lot of the merchandise that you'll see at the parks, as well as sundries and toiletries that you may have forgotten at home.

Resort Recreation

Dockside Inn and Suites has two large pools available to guests.

You'll find a sand area for kids to play and build sand castles, a splash zone for the little ones, and plenty of lounge chair seating.

There is also a game room and a free fitness center.

Just note that as a Value hotel guest, you can't use the pools at Universal's Prime Value, Preferred and Premier hotels.

Transportation at Dockside Inn and Suites

• Universal Buses: Buses can be taken to City Walk to get Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure. There is also a bus that can take you to Volcano Bay water park. The bus stop is located off the lobby.

Volcano Bay closes for maintenance on October 26, 2026. Universal's pages give two reopening dates, on or before March 24, 2027 and on or before April 1, 2027.

How Much Does Dockside Inn Cost?

For Sunday, November 8 to Tuesday, November 10, 2026, the lowest rate Universal showed for 2 adults and 2 kids was $155.50 a night before tax. With the 12.5% hotel tax, that is $174.94 a night. It was the lowest rate of any Universal hotel on those dates.

The Pros of Staying at Dockside Inn

This resort is an amazing value for families. Suites are available if you need more space or want a kitchenette. But even the standard rooms are fairly large. The prices at this resort can't be beat. So between the price and the convenience the value is real!

The Cons of Staying at Dockside Inn

This resort does not offer Express Unlimited with your stay like the Premier resorts do.
