This resort offers both standard resort rooms, and two bedrooms suites. Not only are the rooms incredibly affordable, but the suites are a really nice and spacious option if you are traveling with children and want to have a bit of privacy.

The standard rooms at Dockside Inn are a spacious 313 square feet, and have large windows with either a standard view or pool view. So even if you don't want to spring for a family suite, you will definitely have plenty of space.

Suites are also incredibly spacious at 440 square feet, and even have a kitchenette and picnic-type table set up.

• This bar is located in the lobby area of the resort and offers a variety of fun alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks

• This restaurant is located inside the bowling alley and offers a full menu of American fare in an extremely fun location

• Full Starbucks location in the hotel lobby area

Resort Shopping

The Universal Studios Store at Dockside Inn resort is located off the lobby of the resort. Here you can find a lot of the merchandise that you'll see at the parks, as well as sundries and toiletries that you may have forgotten at home.

Resort Recreation

Dockside Inn and Suites has two large pools available to guests.

You'll find a sand area for kids to play and build sand castles, a splash zone for the little ones, and plenty of lounge chair seating.

Transportation at Dockside Inn and Suites

• Universal Buses: Buses can be taken to City Walk to get Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure. There is also a bus that can take you to Volcano Bay water park. The bus stop is located off the lobby.

The Pros of Staying at Dockside Inn

This resort is an amazing value for families. Suites are available if you need more space or want a kitchenette. But even the standard rooms are fairly large. The prices at this resort can't be beat. So between the price and the convenience the value is real!

The Cons of Staying at Dockside Inn

This resort does not offer Express Pass with your stay like the deluxe resorts do.
