Get ready to celebrate the holiday season in style, because Jollywood is coming to Hollywood Studios in 2023!
This brand-new Christmas party promises to be a night of festive fun, and while all ages are welcome, it definitely has a more adult vibe than Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party at Magic Kingdom.
Here's everything we know about Jollywood so far:
Jollywood will run on select nights starting at 8:30 pm and ending at 12:30 am during the holiday season. The event dates are as follows:
Ticket prices for Jollywood vary depending on the date, ranging from $159 to $199 per party ticket.
However, Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club Members can save $10 per ticket on all event nights.
Guests are encouraged to glam up in their best holiday outfits for Jollywood. Think sparkly dresses, cozy sweaters, and festive accessories.
Disney Jollywood Nights is brimming with red-carpet moments, Hollywood vibes, glimmering décor and fantastic photo ops—so you’re encouraged to don your holiday best!
Obviously, dress to your comfort level (and based on the crazy Orlando weather), but I know I'll be breaking out my fanciest ugly Christmas sweater for this event!
Your ticket to Jollywood includes admission to Disney's Hollywood Studios as early as 7:00 PM on the valid date of your ticket. You do NOT need a regular park ticket to enter this event. You only need a party ticket.
Once the event officially begins at 8:30 PM, you'll be treated to exclusive holiday-themed entertainment, including live bands and DJ music, sing-along experiences, a nighttime spectacular, and more. You'll also have the opportunity to meet your favorite Disney characters and pose for holiday-themed Magic Shots.
Jollywood promises to be a night of non-stop fun and entertainment. Here is what we know will be included in Jollywood Nights so far:
Themed Entertainment
Event Exclusive Shows
Attractions and Characters
Photo Opportunities
As of now, there are no announcements of free cookies or cocoa at Jollywood Nights. However, there will be plenty of food and drink options available for purchase.
You'll find sweet snacks, savory treats, and fun alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages all available for purchase.
We will be at the first Jollywood Nights party at Hollywood Studios to see if this event is worth the cost, and will update this article immediately after.
Right now we are optimistic about this new event. Our initial impression is that Disney has found an event they can aim to adults who want an evening out at the parks, rather than families. That isn't saying that your kids wont enjoy this event, but the throw back characters being featured both in meets and shows, the alcoholic drinks being served, the holiday-dapper dress code (ok not a dress code. But a dress-suggestion) tells me this event is for the child-free Disney fans (even if just for one night), and Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party at Magic Kingdom is aimed more towards families.
There are a few things that have me hesitating, though. First, this party doesn't allow entry at 4pm like Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. So the value on the ticket price immediately feels reduced at first glance.
I also have not seen any announcements on free treats or goodies, like other after hours parties and events. Only paid options.
I also worry about capacity. If the big events are taking place inside of Brown Derby, will these have time limits? Or be paid add-ons? Will everyone be able to check them out?
We'll be sure to update this article once we have more information and after we attend this new event.
