There is no shortage of amazing food when you visit Disney World. So deciding where to have your meals can be a difficult choice (to say the least).
To help you out, I've put together a list of all restaurants available to you at Animal Kingdom. The restaurants are broken up by Quick Service, Table Service, and Character Meals.
Here you'll find the restaurant, location, cuisine type, and a little information to help you decide where to get food at the parks.
A Quick Service Restaurant is one where you can walk up to a counter and order. No reservations are required, and you'll find your own seating.
Here are the quick service restaurants found at Animal Kingdom:
Anandapur Ice Cream Truck
This beautifully bright bus/kiosk is a great place to stop for ice cream or other cold treats on a hot day
Caravan Road
This kiosk is where you'll want to stop if you are looking for a few healthier snack options. It isn't always open, but you'll find it open on busier park days
Creature Comforts
This is one of the stops that is open for breakfast. Grab a breakfast sandwich to go along with your favorite Starbucks drinks.
Dawa Bar
This stop is drinks only, but they are GOOD drinks. Grab a beer, a sangria, a cocktail, or a glass of wine and relax in the covered seating here.
Dino-Bites Snacks
This is a fun stop for some delicious snack foods. Grab an ice cream, a churro, a cookie, and a cold drink. There is limited covered seating available.
Dino Diner
You'll find some fun snacks for everyone at this counter stop. Everything from cotton candy to frozen alcoholic drinks for the adults.
Drinkwallah
This is a fun stop for a quick snack and a frozen drink. You'll find healthy options like fruit and nuts and frozen sweet drinks to cool off.
Eight Spoon Cafe
This kiosk is your stop to grab a Mickey Mouse pretzel or chips and a cold drink.
Flame Tree Barbecue
This is a popular counter service stop for more hearty foods for lunch or dinner. There is plenty of outdoor seating available.
Harambe Market
Another great stop for some healthy snack options. Grab fruit, nuts, or veggies. Or if you want something else grab a drink, pretzel, or chips. You'll also find plenty of outdoor seating available.
Isle of Java
This is a great stop for coffee or pastries in the morning. Nothing beats their iced coffee on a hot day.
Kusafiri Coffee Shop and Bakery
This coffee shop and bakery offers a variety of sweet and delicious treats. You'll find limited seating available here.
Mahindi
This cart is your stop for popcorn, pretzels, nuts, and the "famous" jungle juice.
Pizzafari
This is a great option if you are looking for a place where you can sit down for lunch or dinner. Seating is plentiful here, so you can rest your feet while you eat a slice of pizza or a sandwich. During the day this location is quick service only. In the evening it is BOTH quick service and table service.
Pongu Pongu
In the language of Na'vi Pongu Pongu means "party party." The story of this stop goesan expat paid a visit to Pandora and decided that it was so beautiful that he would stay and open a food stand. Here you can get the exclusive snack Pongu Lumpia, which is a spring roll filled with cream cheese and pineapple.
Restaurantosaurus
This uniquely themed counter service spot was "created" by paleontology students who turned their home in to a restaurant. Aside from burgers, fries, chicken, and other eats, you'll get to check out all of the cool paleontology equipment. You'll find plenty of indoor seating at this location.
Satu'li Canteen
This is one of the more popular food spots at Animal Kingdom. Here you can grab a quick burger or create your own satu'li bowl. There is plenty of indoor seating available at this location.
Tamu Tamu Refreshments
While the menu here changes from time to time, you can always count on cold drinks and sweet treats. It's a great quick stop for a snack on a hot day.
Terra Treats
If you or someone you are traveling with have food allergies, this is your go to stop for snacks. They can offer you allergy friendly snack, and help you the information on where you can find other safe snacks at the parks.
Thirsty River Bar and Trek Snacks
This is a walk up grab and go kiosk. You'll find quick drinks and snacks that you can take as you head to your next ride. There isn't any seating available at this location.
Trilo-Bites
You'll find that the menu frequently changes at this location, but usually you'll find turkey legs, ice cream, and waffle cones to snack on at this kiosk.
Warung Outpost
Stop at this kiosk on a hot day to grab a cold alcoholic or non-alcoholic drink. You wont want to miss the frozen margaritas and the Triple Yeti Blast.
Yak and Yeti Local Food Cafe
Here you'll find the counter service version of the table service restaurant Yak and Yeti. You'll get amazing Asian food, and you'll find a good amount of seating.
A Table Service restaurant is one where you will be seated by a host or hostess and served by waitstaff. If you decide you want to do sit down meals at these restaurants, you'll want to make reservations ahead of time to ensure you can be seated.
Here are the table service restaurants found at Animal Kingdom:
Tiffins Restaurant
This is a beautiful signature dining restaurant that offers a variety of amazing foods for more adventurous eaters. Here you'll find dishes like Lobster Thai Curry Soup,Braised Short Rib, and Wagyu Strip Loin.
Nomad Lounge
This lounge is in the same building as the restaurant Tiffins. Here you can order a cocktail and have a small plate. You'll also find a variety of Asian and African beers and cocktails.
Pizzafari Family Style Dining
This is the same location as the Pizzafari quick service restaurant. During the day this location is quick service only. In the evening it is both quick service and table service. Your first course will be picked up similar to counter service. You are then seated and your second and third course are brought out to you by your server.
Rainforest Cafe
This will be similar to the Rainforest Cafes you'll find all around the country. You can get burgers, pasta, sandwiches, and more.
Yak and Yeti
This amazing restaurant offers an Asian fusion inspired menu. You'll find Chinese, Japanese, Thai, and Indian flavors. It is one of my favorite places to stop at the parks.
These restaurants are table service (same as above), but also include character interactions.
Characters will walk around and visit you at your table while you eat. They wont have a photopass photographer, so be ready with your camera.

Tusker House
This buffet meal is one of my favorite character spots. Here you'll meet the fab five as you dine on an assortment of traditional American food and African delights.
