Beginning August 29, 2019 Hollywood Studios will have a new FastPass tier system in place for their rides. The new system will put rides in 2 tiers.
Tier 1 rides you can only select ONE ride for your initial three FastPass selections per day.
Tier 2 rides you can select any rides for your initial FastPass selections.
As of right now the Tier 1 rides are as follows:
- Slinky Dog Dash
- Alien Swirling Saucers
- Toy Story Mania
- Tower of Terror
- Rock'n'Roller Coaster
As of right now there is no word on when or if the new Star Wars attractions or Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway will be offered as FastPass options.
It is also important to note that Star Tours is not on the Tier 1 list.
So when you chose your FastPass you'll be able to chose one of the rides listed above in your initial selection, and then your second and third choice can be any show or Star Tours.
