Where to Find Disney Villains at Disney World

Important Disney Parks Updates Concerning COVID-19

If you are visiting the parks in 2020, you can expect a completely different experience.

Disney World Villains

*Note that due to COVID-19 character meets at Disney World will have been suspended in order to keep guests safely distanced. For more on COVID changes at the parks see the full article here.

While meeting Princesses and Heroes might be fun, there is something so fun and different about meeting some of your favorite Disney Villains.

But villains are much harder to find around the parks. So where can you find your favorite Disney Villains when you are at Disney World?

Villain Character Meets

Magic Kingdom

Anastasia and Drizzela character meet and greet

Anastasia and Drizella (better known as Cinderella's wicked step-sisters) meet in Fantasyland. They are very fittingly found behind Cinderella's Castle. They are an incredibly funny duo. They like to flirt with the men and are determined to marry rich! No one is off limits with these two fun and funny characters.

Check the My Disney Experience app for meet times for these characters.

Gaston character meet

Gaston is another fun Disney villain you can meet over in Fantasyland. You'll find him near Gaston's Tavern meeting guests, flexing, and showing off for his adoring fans.

Check the My Disney Experience app for meet times for this character.

Hollywood Studios

Darth Vader character meet

Darth Vader is meeting (and intimidating) guests in Hollywood Studios. You can find a set character meet with Darth Vader in the Star Wars Launch Bay (along with other Star Wars characters like Chewbacca and BB8). You'll find the Star Wars Launch Bay in Animation Courtyard.

Check the My Disney Experience app for meet times for this character.

Kylo Ren and Storm Troopers characters

Kylo Ren and his Storm Troopers don't have a set character meet and greet location, but you'll find them patrolling around Galaxy's Edge at Hollywood Studios. The Storm Troopers specifically make for some of the best character to guest interactions that you'll find in the parks.

Rides with Disney Villains

Ursula at the Voyage of the little mermaid

If you're a fan of Ursula and the Little Mermaid, you'll want to head to Fantasyland and ride Under the Sea - Journey of the Little Mermaid. You'll find an amazing Ursula animatronic on this ride that is so impressive.

Peter Pans Flight Captain Hook

Peter Pan's Flight is an original park ride that is located in Fantasyland. Here you'll find all sorts of references to Captain Hook. From portraits in the ride queue to animatronics on the ride, you'll find a good share of Peter Pan villain representation here.

evil queen seven dwarfs mine train

Seven Dwarfs Mine Train features some amazing animatronics. At the end of the ride you'll find yourself watching a scene of Snow White dancing with the dwarfs. And as you pull away you'll see that the Evil Queen is actually right outside the door with her poison apple!

Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin Zurg

Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin is an interactive ride located in Tomorrowland at the Magic Kingdom. On this ride you are a Space Ranger working with Buzz Lightyear to defeat the Evil Emperor Zurg. You'll shoot at the animatronic as you move through this dark ride.

Parties and Extra Events with Disney Villains

Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party is an extra ticketed event that takes place every year (usually August through October).

During this event you'll find fun character meets that you wouldn't normally find. Some include Cruella De Vil, Jafar, the Queen of Hearts, and Lots-O-Huggin Bear.

Cruella DeVill

Mickey's Boo to You Parade

In addition to character meets, you'll also find a special parade that you'll only be able to watch at the party. It features all of your favorite villains, as well as other fun and spooky characters.

Disney Villain After Hours

Villains After Hours Party at Magic Kingdom is an extra ticketed event after regular park closing. During regular after hours parties you'll find unlimited snacks and drinks as well walk on ride times.

But during the Villains After Hours event you'll also find a Villain spectacular show featuring all of your favorite villains. You'll also see the dragon version of Maleficent breathing fire down Main Street USA.

While this extra ticketed event is a fun way to see characters and hit rides with no wait, you will NOT find character meet and greets.

Jedi Training at Hollywood Studios

Jedi Training at Hollywood Studios is a way for your child to learn the ways of the force. They will be trained by Jedi Masters, and in the end they'll not only be able to meet Darth Vader, but they'll actually have the chance to battle him with their new Jedi skills.

You can sign up for Jedi Training at Hollywood Studios. The sign up location is located next to the Indiana Jones Stunt Spectacular on Vine Street. This is a free extra, but space is limited and is first come first serve.

Character Meals

Evil Queen at Artists Point

Storybook Dining at Artist Point is a character meal located at Wilderness Lodge. This character meal features Snow White, Grumpy, and Dopey making the rounds at each guests table.

But center stage is the Evil Queen. She does NOT come around to the tables. Rather she summons you when she is ready and you go to her.

There is a photopass photographer ready to capture your meeting with her.

This character interaction does not disappoint. She is perhaps one of my favorite character meets. She is quick and funny. And she doesn't care what you think.
