Walt Disney World Walking Paths

While there are a ton of free transportation options at Disney World, sometimes walking is the fastest way to get where you are going.

Here are your options (with maps) for walking to parks at Disney World. Click on the maps to enlarge, zoom, or save to your camera roll:

Contemporary to Magic Kingdom Walking Path

If you are staying at The Contemporary Resort, or Bay Lake Towers at the Contemporary, you have the option of walking to the Magic Kingdom.

This is a quick walk that will get you to the parks in a matter of minutes.

This is also convenient if you are looking to have a meal at Chef Mickey's or California Grill at the Contemporary. You can easily get there from The Magic Kingdom or the bus stop at The Magic Kingdom.

Grand Floridian to Magic Kingdom Walking Path

This brand new walkway will take you from the Grand Floridian to the Magic Kingdom.

This walk will take you about 15 minutes, and goes from the Grand Floridian Resort to the boat launch area in front of the Magic Kingdom.

This walkway will be open to guests starting approximately 1 hour before park opening and close about an hour after park close.

Hollywood Studios Walking Path From Resorts

If you are looking to walk to Hollywood Studios, you can walk from the following resorts to Hollywood Studios:

1. The Beach Club Resort and Villas
2. The Yacht Club Resort
3. The Boardwalk Resort and Villas
4. The Swan Hotel
5. The Dolphin Hotel

Walking from these resorts will take you anywhere from 10-20 minutes, depending on which resort you are starting at.

Epcot Walking Path From Resorts

If you are looking to walk to Epcot, you can walk from the following resorts to Epcot:

1. The Beach Club Resort and Villas
2. The Yacht Club Resort
3. The Boardwalk Resort and Villas
4. The Swan Hotel
5. The Dolphin Hotel

Walking from these resorts will take you anywhere from 5-10 minutes, depending on which resort you are starting at, and will take you to the International Gateway entrance of the park. This entrance is located at The World Showcase by the France Pavilion.

Saratoga Springs to Disney Springs Walking Path

If you are staying at Saratoga Springs, you have the option of walking from your resort to Disney Springs. This walking path will take you from Saratoga Springs Congress Park to the East Entrance at Disney Springs.

You can also easily make this walk if you take a bus to the Saratoga Springs Resort and get off at the Congress Park bus stop.
