If so, then a Disney After Hours event may be just what you’re looking for. As someone who has been fortunate enough to attend one of these events, I can tell you firsthand that it truly is an experience like no other.
This is an extra ticketed after hours event at the Magic Kingdom. The park will remain open 3 hours after the park closes, and you'll receive a few extra perks.
Let me give you an overview and review of what it’s like to attend Disney After Hours at Magic Kingdom.
Disney After Hours is an exclusive event offered periodically throughout the year at the Magic Kingdom. The event runs from 10 PM until 1 AM and is open only to those who have purchased tickets.
Guests will be able to enjoy most attractions at the park, as well as complimentary snacks and drinks throughout the park.
Tickets for After Hours range in price from $155 to $175 for both adults and children. There are discounts available for annual passholders and DVC owners (you'll pay $125 to $145 with those discounts).

This event starts 10pm and the park will remain open until 1am.
You can check in to the event starting at 7pm (3 hours before actual start time). You will be given a wristband once you check in to show that you are an event ticket holder. Check in points are located at the park entrance, and also at various spots around the park for guests who spent the day at Magic Kingdom. There will be After Hours signs and Cast Members to help get your wristband.
If you spend the day in Magic Kingdom make sure you stop by one of these check in points. Cast Members will be asking to see wrist bands throughout the night and before you enter any ride queue.
Because this event is limited tickets, rides are entirely walk on. You could use this event as a way to experience Magic Kingdom rides without any wait at all.
It's also a great way to just experience the park with very few guests. If you have ever wanted to explore or photograph the park without other guests this is the event for you.
The main draw of this after-hours event is definitely its rides! All attendees have unlimited access to select attractions.
ALMOSTevery ride will be available during this event. This includes Seven Dwarf's Mine Train, Peter Pan's Flight, Space Mountain, Jungle Cruise, Haunted Mansion, and more.
In addition to being able to ride almost all of the rides in the park with little to no wait, you will have access to unlimited novelty treats during the event.
Starting at 10pm you'll find carts with complementary popcorn, soda, bottled water, and ice cream all around the park.
If you are looking for more substantial food, there will also be food available for purchase.
This event is pricy, but it is a great way to see almost all of the Magic Kingdom is a very short amount of time. I personally used this event as a way to have a date night with my husband. We have a toddler, and so we vary rarely get to ride attractions together. So we were able to ride almost everything at the Magic Kingdom in a single evening.
I would also recommend this event for guests who have a short trip planned. You could easily spend your few days at other parks, and see all of the Magic Kingdom in one evening with this ticket.
Truly, if you are looking for an unforgettable evening in Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom Park, look no further than Disney After Hours! This unique experience offers guests unlimited access to select attractions without any wait times whatsoever - something that's truly hard to come by. And with complimentary snacks and drinks included in your ticket price, it adds a bit of fun. While I personally couldn't even come close to eating enough Mickey Bars and popcorn to come close to the ticket price, this feels like a fun perk more than "added value" on my ticket. But I'm not even mad about it. It's a perk I'm happy to take.
If this event is in your budget, I highly recommend it. It's a wonderful way to see this park with very few other guests.
