Child Care Options at Disney World

Just because you are on a family vacation doesn’t mean that you and your partner can’t have a little alone time. I have had the opportunity to have a little bit of alone time with my husband in the parks, and I can’t even believe what a different place it is without children. If you have the opportunity, I highly recommend trying to spend an evening out without the kiddos. If you aren’t traveling with a large enough family where you might have a sitter on hand, don’t fret. You have options!

These are the options available on Disney property to help you out:

Pixar Play Zone

At the Contemporary Resort you can find the Pixar Playzone.

  • Hours are 6pm - 10:30pm
  • The cost is $65 per child

This play zone is awesome because your child will have tons of fun activities, food, and even character meets! As the name implies, they focus on Pixar characters from Toy Story, the Incredibles and Cars.

For more information you can call (407)824-KIDS.

Camp Dolphin

At the Dolphin Hotel your child can enjoy Camp Dolphin.

  • Hours are 5pm - Midnight
  • This cost is $12/hour per child (If you are using the Spa or dining at Shula’s Steak House, Todd’s English Bluezoo, or Il Mulino New York Tratorria you can get 2 hours free.)

You can expect your child to have free play time or watch Disney movies while you enjoy your dinner or spa time.

Kid’s Night Out Babysitters

This is a great service that basically gives you a nanny on call. They function 24/7 (although they suggest you reserve your spot ahead of time). You can have someone come to your room and watch your kids, or even just help you out in the parks.

This can be a little pricy, but it is incredibly convenient. There is a transportation fee of $10, and then an hourly fee based on the number of children you have. The rates are as follows:

Number of Children Price Per Hour

*The rates will go up after 9pm.

All of the sitters are professionally trained, and CPR certified. Many were previously teachers, and all have previous child care experience. For more information visit their website at or call (407) 828-0920

These are some great options for child care when you are at the park. If you aren’t sure what to do for a date night, check out some of my favorite options  here, and have an amazing time!
