Child Care Options at Disney World

Just because you are on a family vacation doesn't mean that you and your partner can't have a little alone time. I have had the opportunity to have a little bit of alone time with my husband in the parks, and I can't even believe what a different place it is without children. If you have the opportunity, I highly recommend trying to spend an evening out without the kiddos. If you aren't traveling with a large enough family where you might have a sitter on hand, don't fret. You have options!

These are the options available to help you out:

Camp Dolphin

At the Dolphin Hotel your child can enjoy Camp Dolphin.

• Evening program only, and reservations are required
• This cost is $12/hour per child (If you are using the Spa or dining at Michael Mina's Bourbon Steak, Todd's English Bluezoo, or Il Mulino New York Tratorria you can get 2 hours free.)

You can expect your child to have free play time or watch Disney movies while you enjoy your dinner or spa time.

Captain Hook's Pirate Crew

Disney is not currently offering this experience. It was located at The Beach Club Resort. Kids will have a blast searching for treasure, sailing around Crescent Lake, and meeting Captain Hook himself.

This adventure is perfect for your little pirates

• Hours are 5-8:30pm
• The cost is $55 per child
• Kids 4-12 are welcome (grownups not allowed!)

Kid's Night Out Babysitters

This is a great service that basically gives you a nanny on call. They function 24/7 (although they suggest you reserve your spot ahead of time). You can have someone come to your room and watch your kids, or even just help you out in the parks.

The rates are:

• 1 child - $35/hour
• 2 children - $38/hour
• 3 children - $41/hour
• 4 children - $44/hour
• 5 (or more) children - $47/hour
