Be a Guest on the Podcast

If you are looking to be a guest on Double Your WDW: The Disney World Planning Podcast, you've come to the right place.

Here is what you'll need to do to apply:

Leave Me a Voicemail Message

Leave me a voicemail message and let me know why you'd be a great guest! You can do that by clicking here or at the bottom of this page. Here is what you'll need to know:

  • Messages can be up to 90 seconds long. So be prepared with what you want me to know
  • Be sure to include the dates of your tripfor trip reports
  • Tell me what makes YOUR trip interesting/unique/special/helpful. My goal is to help people planning their trips (and to spread a little Disney Magic between trips). So be sure to let me know why your trip would be a good fit
  • Let your personality shine!

Tips for Great Voicemail Messages

Are you worried about leaving a great voicemail message? Here are a few tips that might help:

  • Know what you want to say, but don't read from a piece of paper. I can tell when you do it, and it prevents us from hearing your personality
  • Have fun! Yes, show is supposed to be helpful for listeners. But it is also supposed to be entertaining. So don't be afraid to have fun
  • Share anything about your trip you are excited about! If you are excited about it, chances are there are listeners who will also be excited about it

Leave a Message Here

You can record a 90 second voicemail message here. If you are having any issues, you can also leave me a voicemail message directly on SpeakPipe's website here.

When Should I Leave a Message?

All submissions should be made BEFORE your trip. Unfortunately I do not accept guests who apply after they have returned from their trip.

There is no rule on how far in advance I accept guests. So you can apply at any time. I typically say the earlier the better.

A few things in mind:

  • I only check messages every couple of weeks. So if you wait too long I might not get your message before you leave for your trip
  • If my schedule is full, I might have to pass. So apply early to avoid that

What Happens After I Leave a Message?

I listen to voicemail messages typically every other week. If you sound like a good fit for the show, I will then check your trip dates against my own schedule.

If the stars align, I'll reach out to you via email to book a time to chat about your trip. Once you secure a time on my schedule I will send over onboarding information so you know exactly what to expect.

If I don't reach out to you, don't feel bad! I try my best to book everyone, but sometimes scheduling just doesn't work out. You can always apply again on your next trip.

I can't wait to hear from you and chat Disney!
