If you are visiting the parks in 2021, you can expect a completely different experience.
Disney World Planning during Coronavirus ResourcesSince Disney World reopened with new safety guidelines that include masks for all guests ages 2 and up, many people have wondered if there are any instances where you can remove your mask while at the parks.
Here is where you can safely remove your face covering when at Disney World (and where you can't).
Masks are required when you enter all restaurants at Walt Disney World. You must keep your mask on when you get up from your table for any reason (to use the restroom for example). You must also wear your mask when you exit.
You can remove your mask when you are eating and drinking at your table.
If you are eating and drinking from quick service stops or from kiosks around the parks you are required to keep your mask on if you are walking. This means that you'll need to find a spot to sit or stop when you are eating or drinking around the parks. You cannot eat and drink while you walk.
If you are looking for a break from your mask around the parks you'll find several "relaxation stations" where you can go and take your mask off. Here is where you can find these relaxation stations at each park:
Magic Kingdom
Epcot
Hollywood Studios
Animal Kingdom
You will need to keep your mask on when you are on rides at Disney World. If you are on a ride that has a photopass camera set up on the ride, know that you will not have access to your photos if your mask is removed in the photo. Disney is manually checking all photos to make sure guests have masks on.
